Anatomy and Neurobiology
ANAT 1010.03 Section 02: Basic Human Anatomy
This class is offered during the fall, winter, and summer terms. Upon successful completion of the class, the student will be able to explain and describe, at a basic level, the gross anatomy and histology of the human body. There are no formal laboratory sessions. However, a self-directed optional human anatomy laboratory will be provided throughout the year for independent study.

Physiology and Biophysics
PHYL 1000X/Y.06: Human Physiology
A full-credit Distance Education class equivalent to PHYL 1010X/Y.06 (a requirement of the Dalhousie BScN and certain other Health Professions degrees). The class is based on a selected textbook and WebCT content supported by an extensive student-friendly package including a step-by-step guide, learning objectives, supplementary material, assignments, and videotaped laboratories. The class is normally given in the regular term (Sept to Apr), as well as in the summer term (May to June). Distance Education classes have an additional fee over and above the listed tuition fees.

HUMAN GROSS ANATOMY CD-ROM SERIES
Course Description:
This course features seven modules on Human Gross Anatomy, 210 Hand Painted Images and X-rays from renowned illustrator Dr. Frank Netter, and an exhaustive textual library explaining each image in detail. It is a complete review of the common pathologies of each region of the entire body, including the vascular and nervous tissues. It also features voice over instruction to add context to the written explanations and images.

CCMH Continuing Education Units
CCMH Halifax offers a variety of Continuing Education Courses ONLINE allowing therapists across the country to avoid the cost of travel and accommodation, providing an affordable option for gaining credits. These courses are an excellent opportunity for therapists to revisit the science or lecture-based curriculum of their massage therapy diploma education.
