Thai Stretch massage is based on the ancient art of Thai Massage and energy healing. We combine stretching techniques from Northern Thailand and Jap Sen work from Southern Thailand along with massage foundations to achieve an optimal and effortless approach to treating pathologies.

This 32 hour level 1 class is geared towards massage professionals who want to expand their toolbox.

Through demonstration and hands-on practice students will learn a 60 minute flow and be able to properly assess which postures to use according to the client. It is predominantly a hands-on course where students both give and receive the massage so they are able to experience what the client feels. Students will also have the opportunity to massage the teacher and the TA to get a better understanding as of how the techniques should be used and adapted according the recipient’s needs.

Who would take this course?

  • Massage therapists looking to enhance their practice
  • Those interested in Eastern methods of healing
  • Those interested in energy work
  • Those who wanted to offer variety in their practice

We emphasize the development of skills to help treat clients in a well-rounded way and help ease some common issues. This class will give students a new way to assess their clients and extra tools to treat. In order to identify and assess, students must grasp the basic theories of anatomy and combine them with the Eastern methods of energy and movement techniques.

This class is mainly hands on.

  • Perform a 60 min flow with comfort and security
  • Learn a number of postures
  • Assess your client and decide which postures are best
  • Have a basic understanding of sen lines and marma points
  • Enhance your practice by providing different options
